I'm using Axe Fx ULTRA as cabinet simulator and A/D converter. Triaxis (which is 'programmable' real tube preamp) produces analog sound and Axe FX ULTRA converts it to digital, simulates cabinet and microphone, sends it to computer without converting it to analog signal again. And here is pure triaxis sound and axe fx cab simulation. Well here is my secret: I'm using "Ola Englund's IR's" for cab sim. No more secret.
