The Lil' MoFo by Hayden is a valve guitar amp with a whole lot of attitude. But unlike other mini guitar amp heads, the MoFo is definitely not a one trick pony. From stunning bell like clean tones with real depth to plexi-esque classic rock crunch, right up to full on metal mayhem, the 2 watt MoFo head does it all, whilst aimed for the Studio and playing along via the Aux mini jack in, Headphone mini jack out and recording out.
Designed from the ground up The Lil' MoFo has been engineered as a smaller, light weight amp for the professional musician to rehearse and record with, clothed in steel with an industrial strength coated texture finish. Integral handle and clean simple front and rear panel design complete the exterior.
Internally the amplifier features the oversized high performance transformers Hayden has become famous for, and the high gain circuitry has been tuned after hours of consultation with many renowned guitarists to fulfil the desires of today's modern studio and recording musician.
The mini jacks Aux in and headphone, along with the record out, allow easy access to the amazing range of tones available from this single channel amplifier, to an engineers delight.
The Lil' MoFo, whilst tiny still punches way above its weight. With high gain stages the Lil' MoFo does it all from classic clean tones through biting classic rock crunch to full metal mayhem.
At 2w (rms) the amp gives out the pure overdrive you expect from the output stage of bigger amps but at lower volumes, letting the Lil MoFo scream, without the neighbours screaming at you. Perfect for those late night studio sessions and tour practice.
And the versatility doesn't stop with the sounds. Integral handle, keeping the size to a minimum along with valuable desk top space and an 8 Ohm speaker output, the Lil Lil' MoFo can drive a wide range of cabinets from the custom designed Hayden 1 x 8" (Celestion Super 8) to boutique 1x12 in the studio right up to a 4x12 on the concert stage. And the super cool "Magic Eye" indicator tube displays the amplifier's performance, you will not be able to take your eyes off of this.
