2007 başlarında red hot chili peppers grubunu idol alan bu Ankara külhanbeyleri; Berkhan, Can ve Kadir tarafindan "rhcptr.com" sitesi vesilesiyle kurulan IsHot grubuna ilk zamanlarında davulda Kutlu, Emre vs. gibi bir kaç isim emaneten yardımcı olmuş ancak "bass - gitar - vokal" uyumunu davulda da sağlamak isteyen grup üyeleri, 2007 ortalarında çekirdek kadrodan olabilecek mantalite ve kapasiteye sahip yeni bir davulcu aramaya koyulmuştur. Denenen sayısız davulcu sonucunda istenilen özelliklere sahip bir insan bulunur. Hüseyin'in gruba dahil olmasıyla 2007 Ağustos'unda IsHot bugünkü halini alır. Grup ismi yine red hot chili peppers'dan esinlenerek "rhcptr.com" yardimlariyla belirlenir. İngilizce telaffuzda "Red Hot ~ Is Hot" uyumu ve "Pepper(biber) ~ isot(biber)" uyumu düşünülerek ortaya çıkan IsHot isminin ardından grup artık her yönüyle red hot chili peppers'i anımsatmaktadır. Grubun amacı öncelikle sound ve performansı ile red hot chili peppers'i aratmamak olmakla birlikte Funk ruhunu her daim canlı tutmaktır. Bu doğrultuda geniş bir repertuara sahip olan grup kendi bestelerinde de funk ruhunu özenle işleyip, rock ile harmanlar. Sahnede tüm egosu ve triplerinden arınan IsHot tamamen eğlenmek ve eğlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır..

Ishot is a funk rock band that formed by the main characters of the band (berkhan,can and kadir) in ankara in january of 2007.berkhan,can and kadir met eachother by means of "rhcptr.com". The band name was inspired by the rhcp's name. In addition berkhan,can and kadir,the group respectively worked with kutlu and emre.however,creative differences between these old members and the rest of the band caused them to be fired from the band not long after.In the summer of 2007,ishot worked with so many drummers but it quickly became apparent that the drummers didn't fit in.especially Murat!Finally ishot found its newest drummer!Hüseyin joined the band in august of 2007.The band's musical style was totally inspired by the red hot chili peppers.So our music means sort of combining funk and punk rock together.Ishot seldomly works on another bands music which is like chili peppers' style as well.At the same time after taking progress,ishot looks forward to making its own songs that is once the same style of music soon..
